Washington State Vs Oregon to live. Are there any mountain towns in Oregon?
I am considering moving one day .. once I finish College to either Washington Or Oregon.Washington has no state tax which saves you 100.00-150.00 per pay period, which to me is more then the sales tax in Oregon. Also.. I read that this woman said there is nothing but out doors activities to do in Oregon? Is there alot more in Washington to do>? I hate sports.. not a fan. Love the outdoors. But .. I also like quaint shops and malls and museums etc. I live in a Norweign town in Wisconsin, where I am able to walk not far to attend cooking classes in the basement of this Chef Shop. There is a wine bar next door and down further a pottery shop and a quilt shop. Alot to do. There are fairs here alot during the summer and sidewalk sales. There is a town garage sale too.. where the whole town particpates. I also have a whole food store where they have organic produce and other healthy choice food products and a farmers market in town. The reason I ask who has similar types of things to do.. is because I would be bored. I also wonder if it rains as much as everyone says. This woman said Oregon is getting alot of rain and there was nothing to do there. Please help.
