In fact, Oregon’s Portland was named after this great city.
Portland’s economy remains to be strong. But despite being a metropolitan area, traffic is not a problem and residents are friendly as well as hardworking. Housing is not an issue what with the presence of affordable homes and rental units such as apartments.

city is a popular relocation destination for people coming from the largest east coast cities. It added that the numerous career opportunities available here is one of its main attractions.
In another development, Portland is included in the Top 100 Places to Live in 2009 of Relocate America.com. It is also one of the safest and culturally attractive cities in the entire United States. Additionally, it is a top destination for doing business owing to its progressive economic status.
With these considerations in mind, there’s no reason why Maine’s Portland will not continue to attract people from other parts of the country and even the world. While the other cities have become too expensive, this one provides an easygoing lifestyle for people and their families.
